I am pretty sure that our cars hate me.
I'm really not sure why this is, considering how much attention we pay to them, not to mention all the money and gifts that are showered on them: regular oil changes here, car washes there, a new sensor here, probability drives there. You get the picture. We spend way more money on the car than we do on ourselves! It doesn't seem fair.
I can understand them not liking the kids, as the kids are very hard on them and leave debris scattered throughout. But why doesn't the car take out it's frustration on the kids? It's a mystery to me.
How do I know the cars have me? We have three cars and two drivers. Each one of our cars currently has a flat tire. The cars do it to themselves, I'm certain.
After Dianne bought a new car last November (a spiffy 2006 Saturn VUE), her previous car has spent more and more time in the driveway. Even without going ANYWHERE, the car randomly loses air in the tires. The mechanics at the service station by our house have claimed nothing is wrong with the tires. Still, every once and a while, at least one tire on the car will slowly begin losing air. If left unchecked, it WILL go completely flat.
That car DEFINITELY hates me. I even take it out for drives regularly! Ungrateful car.
So now, we need to get our tires repaired...if a repair is possible. I'm sure the cars will just break the tires again, anyway.
Maybe at lunch I'll buy something nice for them, like an air freshener or steering wheel cover or something.
Ungrateful cars.

I have had to replace two tires this year due to running over nails. I think my car may be mad at me, but I'm pretty sure our neighbor who is conveniently re-constructing their garage down the alley REALLY hates me.
