My oldest daughter, Rebecca, on her way to her first homecoming dance. No, she did not go as a lumberjack! This was phase one - hair (done by my wife, Dianne). She went to a friend's house for getting dressed and makeup, then out to Francis Park for pictures, Del Pietro's for dinner, then the dance, then overnight at another friends house.
All pictures taken with a Nikon D60, f3.5-5.6 18-55 mm kit lens. Click on the first picture for a larger version.
Next two shots at Francis Park in St. Louis, after getting dressed for the actual dance.
Holy crap, I am not looking forward to this time in my life. My little girl is only almost 5, and there isn't any boy/dance drama yet. Good luck, and I know you'll need it. I know I'm going to want to scare the crap out of any boy that comes around my little girl.

They grow up so fast! Our daughter is 19 and she went from diapers to dances in no time flat!

It's frightening when you realise that your little girls isn't so little any more.
Your daughter has the most gorgeous eyes, looks like she might break a few boys hearts when she's older.
