The day that I am writing about was one of those days that, although it contained many extraordinary events, was also in many ways a day like any other. I call it "That Day."
On "That Day", the kids did a bunch of things that they do on other days, but on "That Day" the things that they do was unique in an interesting way. In fact, it was interesting enough that I was certain the rest of the world would surely want to hear about it, so I am putting it on "This Blog." This all leads me to call the thing that happened on "That Day", "The Event."
"The Event" occurred at a time during "That Day" that I was getting ready to do more of the usual things that happen on all days, including "That Day." Ordinarily, "The Event" would happen without me giving it too much further thought. However, on "That Day", other things were going on that led "The Event" to evolve rapidly into "The Situation."
This was not good.
As "The Situation" evolved, it was obvious that I was rapidly finding myself in "The Predicament" in that I was soon going to have to choose between two predicaments. Either of these predicaments most certainly would cause me to stand out in a way that I had not expected prior to "That Day" and "The Event" that became "The Situation." Due to external forces that I clearly had no control over, "The Predicament" became "The Ridiculous Thing of the Post."
As you can see from "The Picture", I was in a pickle! You can't make this stuff up! To make matters worse, the pickle I was in was observed by many laughing people. People who were laughing at me, and not so much at "The Ridiculous Thing of the Post." In fact, it was now becoming apparent to me that rather than "The Situation" becoming "The Ridiculous Thing of the Post", it was clearly myself who had evolved into "The Ridiculous Thing of the Post."
Where did I go wrong?
Thinking I had solved the problem, I instead embarrassed myself further as either myself, or the original "Ridiculous Thing of the Post" had evolved into "The Even More Ridiculous, and Now Slightly Unbelievable Thing of the Post."
Eventually, of course, I managed to extract myself more or less from "The Situation" in such a way that the laughing people went away, "The Ridiculous Thing of the Post" slowly reverts back to "The Situation" and perhaps even all the way back to "The Event" and I was now clearly going to make it through "That Day." In fact, I was even lucky enough to derive some overall positive thing from "The Event", now that it was no longer "The Even More Ridiculous, and Now Slightly Unbelievable Thing of the Post."
Life is Good.
